Privacy, in plain words.
The Woof Chapter is a pet creativity project operated by its founder. For privacy questions or data requests, email mansha2027@mastersunion.org.
What we store
- An email and account authentication details if you choose to save your world. Passwords, when used, are handled by Supabase Auth; we do not receive a readable password.
- Pet names, species, traits, preferences, appearance settings and saved comic stories.
- Pet photographs you choose to save to your account, in private Supabase Storage. Guest drafts and photos stay in this browser unless you request an AI feature or explicitly save to an account.
- Order identifiers, country, price, currency and verified payment status. Dodo Payments handles checkout, receipt email, payment information and its own legal records. We do not store your full card details.
- Basic service/security logs from our hosting and infrastructure providers, needed to operate and protect the app.
When AI sees a photo
Only the optional AI colour-matching action sends your selected pet photo to Google Gemini for colour and simple appearance suggestions. Story writing sends pet details and your story idea, but does not send the photograph to Gemini. The current app does not automatically generate comic artwork from the photo.
We currently use Gemini’s unpaid API quota. Google may use submitted content and responses to improve its services, and human reviewers may process them. Avoid photographs with identifiable people, private documents or other sensitive information, and avoid personal information in story prompts. See Google’s Gemini API terms. We do not train our own model on your uploads.
Private by default; sharing is your choice
Account photos and saved comics are private. If you choose “Create public share link”, we publish a separate copy of the comic title, dialogue, pet name and illustrated appearance, plus a PNG preview. We do not include your email or original pet photograph. Anyone with the link can view and reshare that copy, and search engines may index it.
Use “Remove public link” on a saved comic to withdraw the page and hosted preview. Copies already saved by other people, social networks or search engines may remain outside our control.
Optional Microsoft Clarity analytics
With your permission, Clarity helps us understand visits, clicks, scrolling and where the interface is difficult to use. We load its tracking script only after you allow analytics. Site content, images and input fields are masked for recordings; we do not add your email, pet name or payment data as analytics identifiers. Microsoft processes technical and interaction data under its privacy statement. We respect browser signals that request no tracking.
Storage, service providers and location
We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Vercel for hosting; Google Gemini for the optional AI actions described above; Dodo Payments for checkout; and Microsoft Clarity for optional analytics. These providers may process information in countries other than yours under their own terms and safeguards. We use private storage and ownership checks for account information. Public comic previews are intentionally public.
Delete a comic, your account or your data
You can remove a saved comic in My world. Removing it also removes its public share page and requests removal of its preview image. To request deletion of your account, pet profiles, saved photos, comics and related app records, email mansha2027@mastersunion.org from your connected email. We verify ownership before deleting data and confirm completion. Tell us if you also need help withdrawing a public share.
Without a saved account, clear this site’s browser data to remove local drafts and guest access. For a guest purchase, include its Dodo receipt or order identifier in a deletion request so we can verify it. Do not send passwords or full card details.
How long we keep it
Saved account data remains while your account is active or until you ask us to delete it. Guest sessions, usage limits and uncompleted test orders can remain in Supabase until cleaned up. Deleted information may remain temporarily in provider backups or restricted records required for fraud prevention or legal obligations. Dodo may retain payment records independently.
Your choices
You can request access, correction or deletion of your information, withdraw analytics permission, and choose whether to publish a comic. The service is intended for adults. Contact us if a child’s personal information has been uploaded so we can investigate and remove it.
